It prompts me for a directory to install in, but I don't know where to place the files. No matter what directory I put in, it says warlords ii not found, warlords ii must be installed. blah, blah, blah. Please help. thanks.....................

Ok Folks! Here is how you get the Scenerio Builder to install properly.
Firstly you will need a program called Dos Box available here:
http://www.bestoldgames.net/eng/dosbox/
Then what you you do is this you create a directory called C:\war2 then you make it a sub directory called \warlord2 then you extract the Warlords II game into the subdirectory.
The next step is to extract your 3 Scenerio Builder files into the c:\war2 directory make sure to rename the second and third warscen.pak files so they don't overwrite each other. I renamed the second one warscen2.pak and warscen3.pak respectively.
Then you load up dos box. Type Mount c C:\war2 (or whatever name you name you gave that file)
Then type c:
Vouila you have a C: prompt
Type Install
The program will ask you the drive you select C and it will ask for the default directory C:\warlord2 you hit enter
The scenerio builder will begin to install............ Then it will ask for Disk #2. Of course there is no disk #2 so you do this.........
Go to My Computor then to the C:\war2 file and delete the first warscen.pak file then rename the one you named warscen2.pak to warscen.pak. Then go back to dos box and hit enter and Voila it see's disk #2!!!!!
You do the same when it calls for disk #3 you nuke the warscen.pak file and rename warscen3.pak to warscen.pak and then hit enter in Dos Box!
And What do you know you have it done and ready to go!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope this helps 8)

I'm jsut assuming that's what you have. Let me know when you're ready to go! I have several historical scenarios to play, and at least 1 other player ready to go.

Don't forget to try some of these maps on my site. The Volcano and Illuria maps are very good http://www.freewebs.com/warlordsfoever/warlordsmaps.htm
