HOW TO LOAD A DLR SCENARIO IN WINDOWS XP/2000
Note: This is secondhand info. I have not tried this myself.
- Create another shortcut to the main DARKLORDS.EXE, or just use the original (unmodified) start icon in the Start Menu
- Start game without the -WINCURSOR etc. stuff... just normal original start
- Load scenario (SHOULD work!)
- As soon as game starts, IMMEDIATELY SAVE THE GAME! (Do NOT try to move or anything!)
- After saving, quit immediately
- Restart game using -WINCURSOR stuff
- Load saved game from above and play!
