Warlords 3 darklords rising question, PGS! 11 years, 10 months ago #916
Good day all warlords,
I hope someone can help me. I’m a expert @warlords 3 dark lords rising, I lithely grew up with this excellent strategy game xD In those years I enjoyed the game on (back then the windows 95 and windows 98). I now found the old cd and installed on my laptop win xp. The game did got stuck the fist time, then I used the /WINCURSOR solution, and now I can enjoy the game again. But my question: Years ago when I was a kid, I found a way to make a army team set without using the 2000/2000 points cap. So I had a mighty army (with which I could also use in a Scenario aswell. For example: Regulars: Archers, knights, knight lords, griffons, assassins, air elemental, Black Dragons Allies: Black/undead/blue/red dragons. Mercenaries: Black dragons, fire elemental, moon guard Ship: water elemental Heroes: Vampire, warrior ,general, wizard Starting gold: 500 Stack limit: 8 And the options of sell items and get mercenaries on. And black mana and max mana 15 But I don’t remember how I did this. I know you can make PGS using the scenario editor but I don’t remember how I made PGS teams wich you can use in screnario`s. Can anyone help me remember? Thanks, Attilaknight |

AtillaKnight,
There are 2 ways you can cheat to exceed the 2000 point cap. 1) When making the PGS manually in the game, if you exceed 32767 points the number of points will turn negative. This is a bug because the value is a signed integer. So that's one way you can create a super set by selecting very expensive units and putting them in slot 1 merc/ally/regulars. 2) You can use the scenario editor to create a PGS. But that PGS will only be useable in a scenario and no where else. In your DLR folder will be a program called war3ed. This is the scenario editor. Run this and load a scenario you want to play into the editor. Then click 'Edit side' and select the side you want to play and you can make whatever you wish. KGB P.S. I don't think 'expert' player require such sets |

3) copy the default.rul file that is in the darklords directory to attila.rul, edit it with the notepad or some similar text editor program. Then create shortcut to the darklords executable and add -rules=attila.rul to the path.
in your custom rules file you can change the PGS limit and a plenty of other things as well. |
