I honestly don't see any changes in any of the others (minus the coloring I changed not knowing you did). They definitely are, but it takes an eye for the finer details. ^^ KGB wrote: I thought I made a mistake because the site background color makes those tables really hard to to view and so I 'fixed' it. I take it you use Firefox then. I kind of felt they were a little hard to watch (the lines are "floating" or what you want to call it) when viewing them with Firefox but figured it might be ok. But apparently the feeling was correct since you changed the tables back. The problem is that there's *something* in Joomla that prevents me from controlling the cell spacing (and this is an example of why I hate working with web publishing tools) - if I could make it bigger the effect would disappear. But I can't. But try taking a look at the Terrain Modifiers page now. I've made a minimal adjustment to it. Do you still think it's hard to watch? KGB wrote: Personally I think gray works better than blue for neutral in terms of a background color for the table. Yes, but I tried it and it honestly didn't look very good. I'd say the lighter background colour (1E4494) of the left hand menu could work as background with the tables. Plus it will mesh better with the general style of the site - the current dark blue doesn't fit at all. Take a look at the two last tables in the units section (Dragons and Dwarves). I've tried using two colours from the left hand menu. Do you still think they're hard to watch? I think the "floating" effect is still there, but perhaps not as strong. One other option of streamlining would be to make the tables look more like this forum - black with grey lines etc. But that raises some other questions, like how the tables in the DLR section should be adjusted. Btw, have you tried looking at the stats pages with IE? Try it and weep... |

The background of the table is the same color as the site. So it makes it very hard to realize it is meant to be a table. I don't see any 'floating' effect though. You are right, I weep Attached are the style sheets the site is currently using. The editor style sheet is used in the editor and the other on the site itself. We are free to change either to suit our needs. Onslaught, who is helping with the site suggested adjusting the style sheets from the basic ones that are installed. So maybe a change to the css is what's required to fix everything for all browsers. KGB |

It seems we have different issues with the same layout then. "Floating" is a bad phrasing on my part because I don't know how you say it in English (and hardly even in Swedish). It's the kind of "seeing" effect that feels like you can't focus your eyes on it, in the same way as when you mix red and clear green patterns. Perhaps I'm more sensitive to it since I have astigmatism. Anyway! Have another look at the Units and Terrain Modifiers pages. The Terrain Modifiers table is all black now and the Neutral units tables are grey as you suggested. I've also changed the borders so they look like the borders of the DLR tables. What do you think? In any case we should decide on one look and apply it to all stats pages for all games soon. It's not good that the site is in so much flux. I'll take a look at the CSSs tomorrow, need to go to sleep... |

I had to google astigmatism. The floating effect is definitely due to your problem as that's a text book definition of what happens when you have it.
I took a look at both tables and I like them. The black background works well with the terrain bonus's because it makes the icons stand out really well. The neutral unit gray coloring also works for me. It stands out well and gray is the traditional neutral color. So I'd say these two are good to go. It's still very strange why IE doesn't recognize any of the coloring. Hopefully looking at the style sheets will give you a clue. I know your mirror site was using a warlords.css style sheet which is why your tables are more compact. If your mirror site looks fine in IE then it's probably something in your css sheet that is the difference. KGB |

Ok, let's go for that layout then. I've already converted the Warlords Abilities page, Spells and Items are next. After that, the DLR tables are in line.
I've checked the CSS files but I can't find anything. Which is probably just due to my own competence. Anyway, the point I want to make is the following: IE is a retarded browser. All other browsers render the colours just fine: Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome, AND the browsers in my Android phone and my shitty SE/Symbian phone from 2006. People who insist on using IE should be punished in every way possible, and seeing the tables on warlorders.com without the correct background colours is one minor way. |

Fixed: Tables in Warlord Abilities and Spells. I've changed the order of the spells tables, before they were alphabetically and then with hero spells last. Now they're turning around the "magic wheel" from Divine to Rune, and then Hero last.

Converted the original Spells page. Left the order unchanged. Removed Hero spells since they aren't in the original game.
Converted the Items page. KGB: I can't edit the original Units page, I get the same error message as before. Once I'm done with that final page and get an averall ok for the HOE pages, I'd like to move on to the DLR and original Warlords stats pages. |

Can you try again and let me know.
I went and looked and it didn't seem to be locked. So I clicked the editor button from the forum itself as you would do and then hit save and it saved for me. So hopefully it broke any lock that I had that I didn't realize I had. KGB |

Now it works. Could you try doing that with the DLR units page also?
Original unit stats page converted. I took the liberty to change the headline of 2nd skills to be in line with the newer stats page, plus making the background for Pegasus white and the backgorund for Hellbore grey (since it was a neutral unit until 1.05B). |

Done.
Good catch on those changes to the original units. KGB |
