Warlords,
Molotov has completely rewritten his old editor and produced the finest DLR editor to date. I've posted it in the downloads section as Molotov's Ultimate Editor. I would suggest that anyone looking edit armies, heroes or spells use this editor for all their future work. The only requirement is to have .NET 3.5 runtime installed on your machine (which most people probably have). Many thanks to Molotov for this contribution to the community. KGB |

Thanks KGB for the appreciation of my work.
There are many editors already but all of them have limitations in one way or another. My goal was to design an editor that would not have any limits and would be as convenient to a user as possible. Though, that is a beta version so far! Todd Gabel have found a number of major bugs in a few last weeks and I've sent the newer version of the program to Tim (23th september release) today. Those who will use it, please report any bugs you've met to this forum thread. As well as your ideas on better usability/new functions. |

Updated.
One question I have when looking at the editor. It seems you have to type directly in many of the fields rather than get a drop down list of all possible choices. For example, terrain bonus's. I double click on this and nothing happens but I can type city +1 manually (if I typed city+1 would that work too?). How would one know the correct text to type if there isn't a drop down list/list of all terrain names? KGB |

incorrect input produces an error. so getting no errors means you are doing right
city+1, City +1, cItY + 1 variants are all ok and being parsed correctly. i will replace text boxes with drop downs in alpha version. |

Good job with the editor!
If you are adding drop downs it would be nice if they only showed attributes that actually works in the context at hand. For example: Questing does not work for spells. Mana drain only works for spells. Renown probably only works for hero abilities. |

Onslaught, powers drop downs are already there and does not show invalid options to a user.
Though there are many of uncertainties yet. Here is a table of powers applicability. Untested variants are marked with a red question sign. |

Only just started playing Warlords III again, but this editor is very useful.
Thanks for creating it! Hopefully I'll finish my own scenario at some point. |

Molotov,
I was using the editor today to made a couple of minor mods when I noticed that all the heroes aren't loading. For example none of the KHeroes are showing in the heroes tab. I can see the regular ones, the T heroes, Myth scenario heroes, Divine Right heroes but not the KHeroes. I think there are some others that aren't loading too because I have a lot of heroes in my heroes folder from all the scenarios and campaigns but not that many in the editor. Do you know why that might be? KGB |

maybe you've filtered them
try find Sets option in the main menu and enable K-Heroes if disabled... |
