Hello fellow warlorders!

So I tried installing the VB and used the link to get the prebuild VM, however the game keep on coming up with 'Error Initializing DirectDraw'. Tried to reinstall and not touching any screensize or calibrating anything, but the same error message comes up.

The same apply to me trying to play without the VirtualBox.

I am playing it on an AcerOne, 2 GB RAM, Windows 7 Starter (for some unfathomable reason).

I've been having the same error initially after running Batz' VM for DRL.
Changing the resolution to 800x600 or 640x480 in the game laucher fixed it for me.

I installed Warlords 3 on Windows 2000 through Virtual Box. The game works, but the only problem I have is scaling: the game is running in a window and I want to run in fullscreen. I tried to put different resolutions, but it just changed the size of window. In shortcut properties I chose "Run in fullscreen" but it doesn't work either.

What you need to do is switch your virtual machine to run in fullscreen. After starting your VM, select View> Switch to fullscreen. It will not fill the screen, but it looks fine in 1024x768 resolution on my monitor.

I need your help, i downloaded the VM, and now need the link for the warlords.ova file you mentioned in your help section, if you can please tell me how to do this so i can start playing would be awesome.

I changed the preferences to be a file on my windows 7 dsktop called VM Folder, let me know what to do next.

The OVA file is 'inside' the Warlords.zip file so just extract that using 7-aip (or any zip opening app).
