TOPIC: Music update for GOG version
Music update for GOG version 2 years, 6 months ago #3798
Since the GOG version of DLR has some timing errors in its music tracks, I've created some high-quality ogg rips off the original CDs.
This link contains both the Darklords Rising and Reign of Heroes soundtracks, so you can interchange them freely. The RoH tracks have a lot of long silences at the end of each track on the CD, and I've used a tool to shorten those. I've also included SteamWarlord's RoH reskin. www.dropbox.com/sh/grt4zul0mvwlj7l/AACKR...NNMpzfLRQBgT5ma?dl=0 Let me know if there are any problems, I don't use dropbox that often. |

Will these stay forever or do I need to grab them and add to the site downloads?
What does the person with the GOG version do with them. Just replace the existing ones? KGB |

I think the dropbox link should work permanently, but if you want to host them too, feel free.
The GOG version has a music folder, simply drop them in there and overwrite them. There's also a track 20 that plays as an easter egg with the cheat code "name that tune", but that one's not on the CD, or if it is, it's hidden and my program/drive couldn't find it. So that one isn't included in the upload. |

I grabbed a copy just in case the Drop Box version ever disappears.
Are you sure there is a track 20? The cheat codes just say that 'name that tune' changes the background music. I presume that just selects one of the existing tracks at random as opposed to finding a unique hidden track. KGB |

It's this one, have you heard it before?
