I've made a spreadsheet that shows how many units of different types you will get after a battle if your hero has the Necromancy ability:

Thanks a ton for this.

I never knew exactly how many armies and of what type you got from Necromancy. I knew it capped at 8 and I knew which units but never the amount/types per level.
